The families of both my mother and father arrived in Grays Harbor in the 1880's. I was raised in Hoquiam, educated in local schools and received a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Washington.
The pioneer spirit still exists in Grays Harbor. The community has been good to my family and me. Although opportunities for success have changed over the years, more are available now than ever before.
